What You MUST Do


Don’t you know what? Yes, honey, you do know.  Keep reading…

So over the past few months, I’ve been journaling every single morning.  I write a list of 10 or so things I am grateful for.  Then, a list of 5-10 things I want to do that day.  Finally, my 3 Top Goals-biggies-that I’m working towards.

Lately, seems that the “To-Do” list gets less check-marks every day.  I’m not getting as much done.


Then, it hit me like a ton of bricks.  My “to-do” list was more like a wish list.  Things I was hoping to get done that day.  Oh, and yes, plenty of things I knew I should get done that day.

Problem with that?  My brain says, “meh, maybe tomorrow.”  And, when you are building a business, trying to make an impact on the world and creating permanent positive changes in your life, that’s not f-ing good enough.

So, here’s the little secret that turned everything around the SAME DAY I made the shift.

“Today, I MUST…”

Well, damn. If that didn’t shift every molecule in my brain to get my ass in gear, I don’t what would.

So, here’s the deal sweetheart.  If you don’t have a list, you MUST make one.  EVERY DAY.

You don’t have to do it my way, but if you want a guideline to start with, here it is:

List 10+ things you FEEL grateful for.  Take a minute to truly feel it from the very core of your being.  Feel it take over your whole body.  Only from gratitude can you really open the flood gates for all you want in life.

List 5+ things you MUST do today to hit your goals.  Feel that shit.  Don’t write it down unless you know it is a MUST-DO for you.  No negotiating or compromising with yourself.  MUST. DO.  Like breathing, eating, showering, peeing.  MUST DO.

List your Top Mega Goals for yourself.  And be crystal clear on them; as specific as humanely possible.  Dates, places, people.  Whatever you need to make it feel real.  AS IF already on it’s way to you.  Just beyond your outreaching fingertips and you know if you keep leaning and moving forward you are going to grab it.

**You might want to list goals first if that helps you create your list of MUST DO tasks**

So, there’s the magical, mystical secret. ♥

It’s not really a secret.  It’s actually proven to be powerfully effective to write out goals, take action and journal.

But, when you purposefully tell your brain, “Hey, this is what has to happen.”  Shit starts changing.  Life starts moving in the direction YOU want it to.
